A group of five people discuss an idea over coffee in an informal setting.

Everyone has ideas. Where could yours lead?

Got an idea? We would love to hear it.

You don’t need a business plan. You don’t need to have started a company.

If you have spotted a better way of doing something, we’d like to hear from you.

The Community Innovation Hub is here to help find and support new ideas.

If you have an idea that can make a difference, this is where your journey starts.

“Our aim is simple: to make good ideas easier to find and easier to support, wherever they come from.”

Who can share an idea?

Anyone can share an idea.

You do not need experience, qualifications or a business background.

The Community Innovation Hub is a starting point for ideas. We’re looking for:

  • People with a new idea to explore
  • Students
  • People in a job who’ve spotted something that could work better
  • Community groups
  • People looking for a fresh start
  • Businesses looking to try something new.

Ideas can come from anyone and be at any stage. You might have an idea for:

  • A new business
  • A product or service that solves a problem
  • A community project that helps people
  • A new way of doing things.

What support could I get?

Where we can help, support is tailored to your idea and how far you’ve taken it.

That might mean:

Every idea is assessed in the same careful way, so the support offered fits where you are.
