About CEME
Building a brighter future
We aim to make a difference in our world.
By supporting local businesses we’ll contribute to the economic regeneration and future, ongoing prosperity of our whole community.
At CEME, you’ll find an inspiring, inclusive, innovative, open and honest environment in which everyone thrives, displaying the highest levels of integrity in all that we do.
As a self-sustaining, not-for-profit enterprise overseen by independent trustees, our primary focus is success for our customers, our partners and our people.
There are significant opportunities for our partners within development projects across the region.
Led by the Thames Estuary Growth Board, rapid change and high levels of investment will deliver regeneration, enhance connections and develop the economic infrastructure. It is estimated that 1.3 million jobs will be created by 2050.
Regional development also includes the Thames Freeport, an economic zone connecting Ford’s Dagenham engine plant to the global ports at London Gateway and Tilbury, supporting the creation of more than 20,000 skilled jobs.
Additionally, the Hydrogen Route, running alongside the Thames Estuary, will create an infrastructure to feed the need for hydrogen as a clean power alternative to current fossil fuels, supplying heavy goods vehicles, port and industrial applications, maritime and aviation uses at scale.
Our purpose is to create prosperity by delivering quality jobs, skills and opportunities in the communities we serve, across our region and the country as a whole.
